Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Brightlift, operated at brightlift.ai. By accessing or using Brightlift, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The Service

Brightlift is an AI-powered product management interview practice platform. It provides simulated voice-based interviews with AI-generated feedback to help users prepare for PM interviews. Brightlift is a practice tool and does not guarantee any particular interview outcome.

2. Accounts

You must sign in with a Google account to use Brightlift. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.

3. Subscription Plans and Billing

Free tier

All users receive 1 free interview session per month. Free sessions include score breakdowns across all dimensions, plus strengths and gap observations.

Pro plan

The Pro plan is available at $39/month or $199/year. Pro includes unlimited interview sessions, suggested fixes for every gap, focus suggestions, full weak spot history and trends, targeted practice by weak spot, and full session history.

Billing terms

• Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Brightlift for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, servers, or networks connected to the service
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the service without our written permission
• Share, resell, or redistribute your account access or any content generated by the service
• Submit content that is abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable during interview sessions
• Attempt to circumvent session limits or other usage restrictions

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Intellectual Property

The Brightlift name, logo, and all associated branding are the property of Brightlift. The service, including its design, features, AI prompts, and scoring rubrics, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the service without our written permission.

You retain ownership of the content you provide during interview sessions (your spoken responses). We retain ownership of AI-generated interviewer dialogue, feedback, and scores.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Brightlift is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• AI-generated feedback will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose
• Using the service will result in successful interview outcomes
• Transcription of your voice responses will be perfectly accurate

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brightlift and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data at any time per our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
